A.T. The University of Health Sciences ( ATSU ) is a non-profit, private, post-graduate school focusing on health sciences, as well as the world's first osteopathic medical school. Founded in 1892 by Dr. Andrew Taylor Still, the school is based in Kirksville, Missouri, USA, with a second campus in Arizona. ATSU is accredited by the High Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.

The A.T. Still Kirksville University College of Osteopathic Medicine (ATSU-KCOM) is the first osteopathic medical school in the world, founded in 1892 in Kirksville, Missouri. Originally named American School of Osteopathy. ATSU-KCOM is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, a commission of the North Central and School Association (NCA).
Arizona
The Arizona School of Health Sciences was founded by ATSU in 1995.
The second ATSU campus opened in 2006, A.T. The University of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona (ATSU-SOMA), located in Mesa, Arizona. It educates osteopathic medical students under a relatively recent medical education model, which links osteopathic training to public health centers in the US..
Partnerships exist between ATSU and the National Association of Community Health Centers. The ATSU-ASDOH implements a model of integrating state of the art training with patient care needs at the Community Health Center (CHC). ATSU-SOMA works in partnership with eleven sites to integrate medical education with the preparation for the most complex health care career. The hometown program is there to offer opportunities for medical students previously linked to CHC to get entry permits.
Advanced Mouth Health Center, at A.T. Still University in Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health, opened in 2014 in Mesa. The clinic provides dentistry for those with sophisticated oral health needs, and is developed to respond to the complex needs of patients in underserved communities.

Campus and location
ATSU occupies two campuses (Kirksville, Mo., and Mesa, Ariz.) In over 200 acres with six schools offering programs in osteopathic medicine, dentistry, health sciences, and health management.
Missouri campus
The main campus of ATSU is located at 150 acres in Kirksville, Missouri. The Kirksville population is over 17,000 and about 180 miles to Kansas City and 214 miles to St. John's. Louis.
- Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine - ATSU-KCOM trains osteopathic physicians and gives Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degrees. ATSU-KCOM offers a two-year master's degree in biomedical science for students interested in a career in health sciences in medicine, education, or research. The DO curriculum from ATSU-KCOM includes four years of study. The first two years focus on basic and clinical sciences including osteopathic theory and methods, within the academic environment on the campus of Missouri. The third and fourth clinical rotation experiences are completed in a location in one of the rotation areas. These areas include Arizona, Illinois, Michigan, Missouri, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Utah. The campus has a human patient simulation laboratory, study rooms for standard patient meetings, classrooms, and laboratories. It is also the home of the Gutensohn Clinic, Museum of Osteopathic Medicine, A.T. Still Memorial Library, Northeast Missouri Health Education Center Area, and A.T. Still Research Institute.
- Post Graduate School of Health Sciences - ATSU-CGHS was founded in 1999 in Kirksville Campus. The College trains individuals in health administration, health education, health sciences, kinesiology and public health.
- Missouri School of Dentistry and Oral Health - ATSU-MOSDOH offers Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD). Students spend their first two years studying on campus in Missouri. The third and fourth year clinical education is based in St. Louis, with at least half of the fourth-year clinical experience distributed at CHC and other safety net clinics in Missouri and the Midwest.
Arizona Campus
IN. The University of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona, located in the city of Mesa, was founded in the 1990s and is located on a 59-acre campus about 25 miles from Phoenix. Arizona School of Health Sciences ATSU-ASHS was founded in 1995, and is the first school to occupy ATSU's second campus in Mesa, Arizona. The school offers a range of related health programs including athletic training, audiology, health sciences, human movement, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and doctor's assistant studies.
Academic program
ATSU currently has 30 post-graduate and post-professional programs among its schools.
Student life
ATSU has an average annual enrollment of over 3,100 students from 35 countries. The university also has about 40 student organizations, and students for faculty are ratio 11: 1. The Healthy Student Health Program is designed to foster the health and fitness of the students.
