Martin Noel Galgani Fitzpatrick (born December 13, 1967) is an Irish veterinary surgeon.
Originally from Ballyfin, in Laois, Ireland, he moved to Guildford, Surrey in 1993, where he became director and managed physician at Fitzpatrick Referrals. His veterinary practice includes two hospitals specializing in Orthopedic and Neurosurgery in Eashing, Surrey and one in the field of Softcopy and Soft Surgery, Guildford, Surrey. He is the director of a number of biotechnology companies out of practice.
He is a trustee and founder of Humanality Trust, a charity focusing on the development of surgical implants and drug delivery technologies.

Fitzpatrick obtained his Bachelor of Veterinary Degree from University College, Dublin in 1990.
In November 2014, he was awarded the UCD Alumni Award for veterinary medicine. He was awarded an honorary doctorate by the University of Surrey for the advancement of animal health. He is an Assistant Professor at the University of Florida School of Veterinary Medicine. and Professor and founding member of Orthopedic at the School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Surrey.
In 2017, he presented with the Blaine Award by the Small Animal Association of British Animals for outstanding contributions to the advancement of small animal veterinary and surgery. This award recognizes him as the creator of more than 30 new techniques in the field.

Vet operations
In 2009 he became the first animal surgeon to successfully apply an amputation prosthesis (PerFiTS) to a cat named Oscar who lost two legs by accident. In 2014, Fitzpatrick received the Guinness World Record as the first veterinary surgeon to give this operation to two limbs.

The BBC documentary series 2010 The Bionic Vet follows the work of veterinarian Fitzpatrick and his team at Fitzpatrick Referral. The series sees Fitzpatrick developing new methods and techniques to help pets with unique problems.

Fitzpatrick and his training became the focus of the 2014 Channel 4 Supremet TV series, which continues to run and is currently in Series 9 aired April 2017.
Acting career
He has starred in two episodes of ITV Heartbeat ; as veteran Andrew Lawrence, was first aired in November 2002, and Gabriel's sheep rustler was broadcast in January 2000. He appeared in an episode of the BBC's medical drama episode Casualty (2005), around the same time he appeared on the serial The documentary TV Wildlife SOS , which resulted in the BBC receiving complaints that the last show included actors pretending to be veterinarians. He has appeared in ITV series London's Burning (2001), and two episodes of ITV's The Bill .
Fitzpatrick's first movie appearance was in the horror movie The Devil's Tattoo (2003). She took the lead role in the movie Live for the Moment (2004) where she starred as Dr. David Fowler, and starred as Inspector Beckett in the film Framed (2008). ).
