Tionne Tenese Watkins (born April 26, 1970), better known by his stage name T-Boz , is American singer, songwriter, actress, author and executive producer. Born in Des Moines, Iowa, Watkins became famous in the early 1990s as a girl-group TLC member. He has won four Grammy Awards for his work with TLC.

TLC
Crystal Jones held auditions for the singing group and chose Watkins, and Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes. The group eventually attracted the attention of Perri "Pebbles" Reid and her husband, Antonio "L.A." Reid, head of LaFace Records. Jones was replaced with Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas and the group was signed in 1991 as TLC. The successful group sold more than 65 million records. T-Boz has won four Grammy Awards as a member of TLC.
In late 2011, VH1 announced plans to produce violin films on TLC to air in 2013. Watkins and Thomas enlist as producers. Watkins's role is depicted by actress/singer Drew Sidora at CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story . Princess Watkins, Chase, plays a younger Tionne in this film.

She also appeared on the episode of Living Single , the first time guest star along with her bandmates and another time without them. Watkins also served as one of the executive producers for the 2006 film ATL featuring rapper, TI. She is also featured in the music video for "It's Good" with YoungBloodZ, and appears in The Real Housewife of Atlanta ââas a friend of Kandi Burruss. In November 2016, she began her two-month acting role as Sheila, a prisoner in tight prison, on Days of Our Lives. Watkins published a semi-autobiographical poem entitled Thoughts on November 3, 1999. In 2005, Watkins and stylist Tara Brivic (which later appeared on Totally T-Boz ) opens a children's boutique named Chase's Closet (named after her daughter's name). It was closed several years later.
The reality TV show Watkins Totally T-Boz , aired January 1, 2013, on the TLC network. The show recorded Watkins's journey to make a solo album, reunite with bandmember, Chilli, and his life with his daughter Chase.

Personal life
As a child, Watkins was diagnosed with sickle cell anemia. From the age of seven, he had been in and out of the hospital because of his condition. T-Boz opened to the public about the disease in 1996; he later became one of the spokesmen for the Sickle Cell Disease Association of America. In 2002, she was hospitalized for four months due to sickle cell anemia. He has stated that his faith in God and his optimism has helped him remain free from the more serious effects of sickle cell disease.
On August 19, 2000, Watkins married rapper Mack 10. His son, Chase Anela Rolison, was born prematurely several months later on October 20, 2000. In June 2004, he filed for divorce, and asked for an arrest warrant against Mack 10. In 2012, Watkins moved with Chase from Atlanta to Los Angeles, California, to get Chase closer to his father.
In October 2009, Watkins revealed that he had secretly fought a potentially lethal brain tumor for three years. In March 2006, she was diagnosed with wine-sized acoustic neuroma in her vestibular nerve that affected her balance, weight, hearing, vision, and facial movements. Many doctors refuse to remove tumors because of sickle cell-related complications, leaving a dreary alternative. Finally, he underwent surgery at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles.
Watkins filed for bankruptcy in February 2011 and again in October 2011.
