SoundHound Inc. , established in 2005, is an audio and speech recognition company. It develops speech recognition, natural language comprehension, voice recognition and search technology. Its feature products are Houndify (AI sound developer platform), Hound (voice-activated digital assistant), and SoundHound (mobile music introduction app). The company's headquarters are in Santa Clara, California.

The company was founded in 2005 by Keyvan Mohajer, a Ph.D. candidates at Stanford learn voice recognition. In 2009, the company's Midomi app was rebranded as SoundHound.
