The Television crew position comes from the film crew, but with some differences.

Video Television crew

Pre-Production

Working before the shoot begins is called the pre-production stage. The crew at this stage included casting directors, costume designers, directors, location managers, makeup artists, researchers, screenwriters, set designers, and television producers.

Casting director

The casting director acts as an actor, and is usually one of the first crew members in the project. In fact, during the initial casting for television pilots, executive producers and casting directors were often the only members of the crew.

Beautiful designers work closely with theater directors and other members of the production design team to create an environment for production, and then communicate these environmental details to technical directors, production managers, cost artists, and property owners. Scenery designers create landscape scale models, artistic rendering, paint elevation, and scale construction drawings to communicate with other production staff.

Television producer

In the entertainment industry, television producers (compared to film producers) are generally responsible, or help coordinate, the financial, legal, administrative, technological, and artistic aspects of a production. On television, the television producer can be given one of the following titles:
  • Connecting producer
The associate producer performs a limited production function under the manufacturer's authority; often in charge of running daily production. It is usually the producer's assistant, although the task may vary. They often form relationships between everyone involved in the shooting (production team) and the people involved after the filming to complete production, and make it publicized (post-production team). Sometimes, credit for this role is given to the financial supporter of the product, or the person who originally brought the assignment to the producer.
  • Producer Assistant ( AP )
In the UK), producer assistant is the closest role to a movie director. A producer's assistant often doubles as an experienced researcher, and is directly responsible for the content and creative actions in a program. Television director titles are usually reserved for dramatic, production and film-like, or those who control the multi-camera settings of the gallery .
  • Co-producer
Usually perform production functions together with one or more other co-producers (working as a team, rather than separately on various aspects of production).
  • Manufacturer coordinates
The coordination producer coordinates the work of two or more producers who work separately on one or more productions.
  • Executive producer
The executive producer oversees one or more producers in all aspects of their work, and sometimes begins production. They are usually the highest authority on the creative and business aspects of production. If the title is properly defined, the executive producer manages the project's financial support and maintains a healthy production budget. In the program written, the programmer receives the credit of the executive producer.
  • Producer line
A line producer oversees the physical aspects of production (not the creative aspect), including personnel, technology, budget, and scheduling. Line producers oversee the budget. This involves operating costs such as salaries, production costs, and the cost of renting everyday equipment. Lini Producer works with Production Manager on costs and expenses.
  • Segment manufacturer
Produces one or more components from the production of many parts.
  • Supervisor producer
Supervise one or more producers in some or all aspects of their work; usually working under the authority of the executive producer.

In addition, more senior members of the television show writing staff are credited as producers, with a special title depending on the seniority and the salary level of the author. For example, an author who is credited as a "co-executive producer" will usually receive a higher salary and is considered more senior than a writer credited as a "producer", which in turn will be a higher "rank" than an author credited as "co-producer."

Writer

The Writer creates and prints original stories, or adapts written, telling, or other acts for the production of television shows. Their finished work is called a script. The manuscript may also be the contribution of many authors, so the task of Writers Guild of America (WGA) is to designate who gets credit as 'Author'. 'Written by' in credit, is the terminology of the Writers Guild of America which means, "Original Stories and Scenario By." Screenplay or script is a blueprint for producing movies, and a teleplay is the same thing for a television show. The author may also fall under the category of screenwriter. Screenwriter (also called script writer ), is the author who writes scenarios for production. Many also work as scripts , changing the script to suit the director or studio. Script-doctoring can be profitable, especially for better-known writers. Most professional screenwriters are unionized, and are represented by organizations such as WGA.

Author head

A head writer oversees the author's team on a television or radio series. This title is common in sinetron genres, and in comedy sketches and talk shows featuring monologues and comedy plays. In the prime time series, executive producers fill this function.

Scriptwriter

The Screenwriter or scenario writer or scriptwriter creates short scripts or feature lengths for movies and television programs.

Story editor

Story editors are job titles in filmmaking and television production, also sometimes called watchdog producers . The story editor is a scriptwriting staff member who edits stories for scenarios.

ADR Editor

Automatic dialog substitution (ADR) is the process of replacing invalidly recorded dialogue during filming, with the voice of the actor being recorded and put in place during editing. The ADR editor oversees the procedure and takes the broken dialogue, and replaces it with the newly recorded line to the actor's mouth on the film to make it into lip sync correctly.

Artist/blue/matte screen director

Bluescreen is a film technique for shooting a foreground action with a blue background, which is substituted by a background view of the background plate separately by optical or digital composting effects. This process is directed and coordinated by the Bluescreen Director. Matte artists are part of a special effects department that helps in creating sights and locations that do not exist. They gather backgrounds using traditional techniques or computers mixed with recorded footage to make the wrong set. Both are quite similar, but bluescreen technology is more modern and more widely used.

Visual effects artist

visual effects artist (VFX) is used in television production to create effects that can not be achieved in the normal way, such as describing a trip to another star system. They are also used when making effects in the normal way is very expensive, like a big explosion. They are also used to enhance previously filmed elements, by adding, deleting or enhancing objects in the scene. Visual effects artists create this effect, and develop it with the help of a visual effects watchdog. The visual artist's tasks are very different, and can range from combining a broad over-the-top special effects with computer visual effects and CGI animation.
