Steven Darcel McBath (born October 28, 1985) is a former safety of American football. He was composed by the Denver Broncos in the second round of the 2009 NFL Draft. He played football at Texas Tech.
McBath also plays for Jacksonville Jaguars and San Francisco 49ers. McBath is now a defensive coach assistant at Washington State University.

Initial years
McBath was born in Gainesville, Texas. As a defender in the back and wide in high school, he led Gainesville Leopards to the 2003 state soccer championship, a 35-24 victory over the Burnet High School team, led by former Dallas Cowboys striker Stephen McGee and former Tampa Bay Recipient width Buccaneers, Jordan Shipley.

Professional career
Denver Broncos
The Broncos voted McBath in the 2nd round (the 48th overall) of the 2009 NFL Draft. On July 26, 2009, McBath signed a four-year, $ 3.85 million contract with a $ 2.01 million bail. The basic salary is $ 310,000 in 2009, $ 395,000 in 2010, $ 480,000 in 2011, and $ 565,000 in 2012.
McBath played 13 games during his rookie year, collecting 26 tackles (22 solos and 4 assists). During Week 2 against the Cleveland Browns, McBath intercepted Quady Quinn's quarterback for his first career interception. The next McBath interruption will not be until Week 14 against the Indianapolis Colts quarterback at the time, Peyton Manning. McBath will suffer a broken arm just a few plays later, eventually putting him on the injured reserve list for the rest of the season. On September 4, 2011, McBath was released by Denver.
Jacksonville Jaguars
McBath signed by Jacksonville Jaguars on December 12, 2011 and then released on April 23, 2012.
San Francisco 49ers
McBath was signed by the San Francisco 49ers on July 23, 2012 for a one-year contract.
In the 2012 season, McBath and 49ers appeared on Super Bowl XLVII. In the game, he recorded a tackle when 49ers fell to the Baltimore Ravens with a score of 34-31.
McBath again signed a contract with 49ers for a one-year contract. On 22 August 2013, 49ers put McBath on injury due to a foot injury he suffered in his second pre-season game against Kansas City Chief.
