Joseph Peter Tereshinski Sr. (December 7, 1923 - June 9, 2013) is the tighter end of American football in the National Football League for the Washington Redskins. He played college football at the University of Georgia and was compiled in the thirteenth round of the 1946 NFL Draft.
Tereshinski is the father of former Georgia Bulldogs Joe Tereshinski Jr. and Wally Tereshinski. He is also the grandfather of former Bulldogs midfielder Joe Tereshinski III and John Tereshinski, former end of Wake Forest. He died at assisted living facilities in Athens, Georgia, in 2013.
