MS Liberty of the Seas is a Royal Caribbean International Freedom-era cruiser that entered regular service in May 2007. It was initially announced that it would be called Endeavor of the Seas , but the name was later changed. The 15-deck boat houses 3,634 passengers served by 1,360 crew. He was built in 18 months at Akny Finnyards Turku Shipyard, Finland, where his sister ship, Freedom of the Seas , was also built. Originally built on 154.407 gross tonnage (GT), it merges with its sister ship, Freedom of the Seas , as the largest cruise ship and passenger ship ever built. The length is 1,111.9 feet (338.91 m), width 184 feet (56.08 m), and cruises 21.6 knots (40 km/h).
Liberty of the Seas is the second of the ship Freedom -class. The third ship, Independence of the Seas , was delivered in April 2008. In 2009, the first vessel in the new Oasis class measuring 220,000 gross tons replaced Freedom class as the largest passenger ship in the world.

History
On April 19, 2007, Liberty of the Seas was sent to Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. parent company. On April 22, 2007 he made his first port in Southampton, on a promotional visit. He arrived at Cape Cruise Cruise Port on May 3, 2007.
On May 18, 2007, the ship was baptized by Toronto-based travel agent Donnalea Madeley, who, along with her husband, is also the founder of the Hands Across the Nations charity.
In January 2011, Liberty of the Seas underwent a renovation to include features introduced on the proven popular Class Oasis ships. This renovation feature includes an outdoor video screen in the main pool area and the entry of DreamWorks Experience.
Then in 2011, Liberty of the Seas completed its first transatlantic repositioning voyage, moving from Miami, Florida to home-porting in Barcelona, ââSpain. He lives in Europe for the summer and part of autumn, and then returns to Miami. Until 2015, Liberty of the Seas spent the summer in Europe and winter in Port of Miami or Port Everglades in Florida. In 2015, Liberty of the Seas repositioned to Cape Liberty Cruise Port in Bayonne, New Jersey from May to November, after which he repositioned to Galveston, Texas.
In February 2016, Liberty of the Seas again underwent renovations, added additional cabins above the front of the ship, introduced new restaurants, and made improvements to the pool deck. After the increase, Liberty of the Seas is 155.889Ã, gross tonnageÃ, (GT), making it bigger than the other two freedom class ships, and the world's eleventh largest cruise ship, beat Norwegian Epic with 16 GT.

Facilities
Liberty of the Seas , such as his sibling, the Freedom of the Seas and Independence of the Seas, features extensive sports facilities including onboard FlowRider wave generators for surfing, interactive water play area for children, full size volleyball/basketball court, ice skating rink, boxing ring and a large gym. The 2016 drydock renovation adds the "Perfect Storm" water sled complex, featuring two racing slides and boomerang style slides, and a children's play area "Splashaway Bay", featuring a smaller water slide.
Other facilities include two cantilevered whirlpools and an exit project from the side of the vessel to provide the following offshore view, Wi-Fi and mobile connectivity on most vessels, modular conference centers for business meetings, and flat-screen televisions in only a few rooms. Many of the interior ships are heavily decorated by Clarissa Parish murals.
The restaurant includes a three-level formal dining room, a casual Jade Cafe Asia dinner, a traditional Casual Cafe Casual Cafe, Sorrento's Pizzeria, Promenade Cafe, Ben & amp; Jerry's ice cream shop, Johnny Rocket restaurant, Chops Steakhouse, and Italian restaurant Portofino. Restoration 2016 transformed the Italian restaurant "Portofino" into "Table Giovannis", and added a Mexican "Sabor" restaurant in the space previously occupied by the ship's nightclub.
The new additions made during the 2011 renovations include the 3D Movie, the passenger service kiosk, the DreamWorks experience, the Cupcake Cupboard, the Royal Babies, the Tot's Nursery, and the addition of the "Saturday Night Fever: The Musical" Broadway show. Cupcake Cupboard takes its place from a barber shop on the Royal Promenade, relocating a barber shop to Vitality Spa.
Experience DreamWorks
The DreamWorks experience begins at Liberty of the Seas January 30, 2011. The DreamWorks experience includes DreamWorks characters and stories into the cruise experience. Features like DreamWorks Experience include meet and greet characters, character parades, table visits of characters during meals, DreamWorks movies on cabin television, and DreamWorks 3D movies on board.
The DreamWorks Experience special features for Liberty of the Seas are character meals, DreamWorks character parades, photo opportunities with characters, 3D movie theaters, first DreamWorks movies run, special DreamWorks programs available in TV cabins, Adventure Ocean activities with character.
The DreamWorks Experience was first introduced on the oceans ship -class, MS Allure of the Seas , on December 12, 2010, and then at Oasis -class aboard the MSÃ, Oasis of the Seas on February 26, 2011 and on the Freedom of the Seas ship on March 27, 2011.
